Sixteen beautiful souls of the Saviour Church of Ghana lost their lives in a fatal road crash on the Atwedie section of the Kumasi-Accra highway on Monday, July 28, around 2:30 p.m., have been laid to rest in a mass burial at Obogu in the Asante Akyem North Municipality.
The tragic accident occured as the victims were returning from the Church’s annual programme held in the Eastern Region.
According to eyewitnesses, the crash involved a head-on collision between a vehicle transporting the church members and a fuel tanker travelling in the opposite direction.
