VRA COMPLEX JHS SENDS OFF 2025 BECE GRADUATES

On Thursday, 26th June 2025, VRA Complex JHS No. 1, held a heartfelt Thanksgiving Service and Handing Over Ceremony to celebrate students who recently completed their Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and to formally transfer prefectoral responsibilities to the newly elected school prefects.

The atmosphere was filled with joy and emotion as the outgoing students marked their final moments with teachers and peers through symbolic farewell dances and warm interactions. It was a beautiful blend of celebration and reflection.

Pastor Fred Yeboah, the guest speaker, delivered an inspiring message to the student body, emphasizing the importance of obedience and respect. He encouraged all students to remain respectful and obedient to authority figures, including teachers, parents, and elders.

The second part of the program focused on the official handing over of leadership roles. Outgoing prefects passed the mantle to their successors in a ceremony marked by mixed emotions, gratitude, pride, and a touch of sadness. Certificates of appreciation were awarded to all outgoing prefects, choristers, and outstanding sportsmen and women in recognition of their service and dedication.

According to Reindolf J Botchway, in his face book page,the event was brought to life by the Alter Crew, whose energetic performance of contemporary gospel songs had students and staff dancing joyfully, making it a truly memorable occasion.
